Underdeveloped babies?

My first time beading and so far one baby was born very premature only 1.2 grams (glad to say he is over 5 grams now and thrving) and another baby was born full size but no eyes and would never eat. But many eggs seem the baby has died before hatching. My incubator temp is constant anyone no what might be causing this?

What is your incubation temperature and how are you measuring it?

Besides the possibility that it isn't exactly what you think it is, other possible problems include:
--one or both parents has a genetic problem causing these deformities (if that's the case, the problem may show only when these 2 particular geckos are paired)

--poor supplementation of the mother, resulting in babies with decreased viability

--statistical bad luck

--some problem with the incubation medium.

Medium is superhatch
I keep calcium plus in tank t all times
Have decent digital thermometer
And she eats like a beast even when gravid
mainly feed crickets gutloaded with that rage cricket food but I also give butter worms occationally

I had this happen last year with a few hatchlings. After searching on here and talking to breeders at shows temperature fluctuation was determined to be the cause. Make sure you have a thermometer that has a max/min function so you can be absolutely sure there is no temperature fluctuation while you are away.
