My universe male was/is very slow to mature , his care and husbandry was the same as all the rest of my geckos he is housed by himself and gets all the supplements he needs and is feed on crickets. Temp range in his enclosure is from 90 down to 80 . Are universes known for this or is it just him ? At this point he is 45 g.

It's possible it could be a failure to thrive case. How old is he? Maybe a picture next to something for size comparison would also be useful.

On an off note, 80 is pretty high for being the low temperature. I usually prefer the cool temps not to get above 75 max.
