Leopard Gecko hasn't eaten in a few days, been trying to feed it small mealworms.
Finally, I noticed the gecko defecate but this time it wasn't the usual digested mealworm, it was a puddle of slime and what looked
like a brownish soft oval. After this I saw the gecko laying strangely in his corner and licking a small crack near the rear end / tail.

I'm very concerned I'm not entirely sure what to do, the gecko is also acting strangely.
Please, any replies will be appreciated.

Do you know if it's male or female? What are the temps in the viv? What kind of substrate are you using?

I believe it's a female, i'm using news paper substrate, and I am just on my way to the store to get a thermometer.

What are you using for a heat source?
How old is the gecko, and how long have you had it?
Are you using any kind of supplements?
Does she have a moist hide, and a dry hide?
Can't think of anything else, but just some basic background info for the time being :)

Heat lamp and UTH.

My UTH is connected to a Rheostat and is on the low setting, even still my thermometer is reading the bottom to be 97 degrees f, which is too hot is it not?
I'm not sure how to solve that...

I'm un aware of the gecko's age, it was given as a gift, but it is an adult.
She has a two dry hides, and i'll make a moist one ASAP.
Calcium supplements.

97 is a little too hot, yes. Is this a female or male gecko? Depending on age, if it's a girl she may be ovulating and not interested in food. That doesn't explain the runny waste though-only the one time, or has it been runny several times?

a good way to lower temps a little is to use tile as flooring.

Edit: the drop varies with the UTH brand and tile material.
