Unpredictable appetites

We have two female juvenile leos who are very inconsistent with their appetites. Currently they are showing very little interest in food. They'll grab a cricket or two but pretty much ignore the rest. Then sometimes they'll eat like it's their last meal lol. Is this normal behavior?
