It is a personal choice but personally I house everything seperate. Its easier to tell who is eating and how much and you have no chance of one becoming aggressive towards another. Plus if you end up having a male and female they become mature before they should and can breed before they or you are ready and if you end up having 2 males together they will show aggression and can fight to the death. Some do it some dont. If you are going to though you need to have a back up setup just in case there is aggression. Even females can be aggressive towards eachother.
