I found this one yesterday in the incubator.

This hatchling comes from a pairing of a giant tangerine tremper albino x giant tremper albino:

I have a strong feeling this is a dwarf: she only has 1 band between the legs, tail is much shorter than usual, but the head seems to have the right proportions. She has a weight of 3 gramm and hatched after 58 days.

Her sister is as normal as can be.

3 grams is about normal hatchling size. I would say you hit the 25% for normal size.

Giant x Giant

25% Normal
50% Giant
25% Super Giant

I know the odds, I already hatched quiet some babies over the years, but this one realy has a small body.

like already said her head is just fine but the lenght between her legs is half the size of a regular hatchling, same for her tail.

Wow that is amazing.. keep us updated on her growth and progress, she is very beautiful!

PS- can you get a pic of her compared to another hatchling?

it has the proportions/look of achondroplasia. I have produced a very small percentage of strangely tiny babies from my giant Tremper pair also--one was 1.4g at hatch, but had perfect proportions--nothing like your special little one :) Please keep us updated as he/she grows! I'd name him/her "Burglecut" i.e. Willow :D

Wow she's itty bitty, that's interesting. Dwarfism in Leopard geckos is definitely interesting and I find it more interesting that a Dwarf popped out of "Giant" Leopard Geckos.
