Alrighty, so I have been quite busy with the new job lately and since I got a day off I decided to come and post lil update for all of you. Ares is doing great, since the summer came he has put on some weight. The heffer is now up to 95 grams! Lol!!

Cynder is also doing well, she is even hand feeding now. =)

We are going to be moving soon.. not far or to another city or anything, but I am attempting to figure out the best way to make the move easy for them. Does anyone have any ideas? I was thinking of moving them last. Placing the both of them in a reptile carrier and just moving their whole environments as they are... any other ideas?

ALSO this is very important... Does anyone know a lot about Chinchillas??? My friend is having a lot of problems with one of hers and is desperate for some help. If anyone knows someone who has chins or knows a lot about them let me know please. ^^

Thanks everyone, Missing you all!

Think about all these hundreds of leos that go to reptile shows all the time. If I were you, I'd put them in deli cups, load them up and go.

The skink you can probably just put in a container with some of the substrate, thats what I do when I clean out my skink's tank. He feels safe enough with something to hide in while I clean his tank. Can't help with the chinchilla though, sorry. Hopefully someone with some advice will come along soon.

I thought maybe that would help too Chelsea. I usually put Cynder in a little kritter carrying case with some sphagnum moss while I clean her cage as well. XD And we are only moving down the street after all.

Oh, well if it's that close then I'd definitely put her in something like that. As long as they have something to hide in they seem to be content. And I'm sure Ares will do just fine in a deli cup or another kritter carrier. It does seem like it would be easier to just move the tanks as they are, especially if you're not going too far.

Well, friends little chin passed away today... poor little thing was too far gone. Vet once again did not help at all... -sigh-. Rest in peace Biscuit. <3

I'm sorry your friend's chin didn't make it. My sister owns 2 chinchillas, I was going to ask her for you, but I guess I'm too late now.

Aww thanks Bonnie <3. Sadly I don't think there was anything that could have been done for her on time. Thank heavens another female of hers has adopted her baby though.
