It depends how you look at it. Is Eclipse a morph or is Eclipse a description of a solid black eye? If you look at RT's available page you'll see he describes them as "Eclipse: Solid Black eyes, Eclipse: Snake Eyes". So, Eclipse is a morph that can have variations in eye color... Since Patternless Stripes are the same thing as Eclipse you would use the same terms.

Not my name my friend.

"Eclipse" is the name of the morph, period, no matter what pattern/color it is.
A Snake Eye is STILL an Eclipse, so they are "snake eyed" Eclipse. That is RT`s way or whatever, he did not seem to specify pattern except to call them a "patternless designer" in the case where they were "Patternless Striped". THAT (Patternless Designer, Patternless Stripe or PRS, same thing)is a much much better name for it then just "Patternless" or "Aptor", and it is is staying right where it is.:)

For one you are not going to see a "normal" from this project with eyes like that. It is not very likely anyways. If you did it would be called an Eclipse BECAUSE OF THE EYES. I dont know any other way to explain it, and its not my idea.

Second I was only trying to explain why HE called it a snake eyed Eclipse. They are the same thing. One is different in that it has half or partial solid eyes, that is HIS way of saying one is different.

Not my idea!:p You go tell Ron Tremper this I am sure you two can work it out;)

Oh, if it were the case I would probably call it what it was a snake eyed normal, but technically it is an Eclipse, snake eyed or not. I was only trying to explain. Oh nevermind.:main_lipsrsealed:

It's the eye or RAPTOR's would simply be albino eclipse ?? and just a eclipse is NOT the non albino version of the RAPTOR a eclipse eyed patternless striped is the non albino version of the RAPTOR.I've looked a RT web page in my view money seem to have made him blind half of what he has marked as RAPTOR's are tangerine striped.Only some of them i would consider TRUE RAPTOR'S AKA albino eclipse eyed patternless striped as you can clearly see row's of spots following the spine.Like so called RAPTOR'S 196,927,931,933,935,2706, As there is nothing patternless about SEEING full blown stipes. As for the Eclipse 936 i'd call a Eclipse eyed tangerine striped whitch is the same as the so called RAPTOR 948 making all that look like 948 Albino eclipse eyed tangerine striped. And eclipse 850 a eclipse eyed tangerine striped carrottail and 851 a snake eyed tangerine stiped carrottail.852 is maybe just a eclipse eyed patternless striped.

Yes it refers to the eye, but when a gecko has it, in short is it an Eclipse or Snake Eye. In Rons case it is Snake Eyed Eclipse or just plain Eclipse.

That is exactly why "Patternless Stripe" is a better name than just "Patternless". Alot of "Aptors" did have a pattern to them, just like the ones on his site now. The thing is they do not all hatch completely Patternless, some look more like Reverse/Stripes and Jungles. That is the same thing you are seeing, on some of the R/Aptors.

Ron`s description of the "Aptor" is just that, "some do not hatch patternless, etc etc etc faded spotting striping etc etc". It is basically just an "aberrancy" from the normal Stripes, Reverse stripes etc. because they came from mixing the patterns together.

OK so this is someone elses thread, sorry to post all of this here.
