ok so i wanted to show everyone an update on our first ever pigtailed hatchling that we hatched out early this year.
she was a small hatchling, and has taken a while for her to put on some weight. but she has and the pigtail has straightened out with the fattening of the tail.
she also had a small amount of underbite, which is now gone.
she is a pet only, will never breed her although i dont think that it is genetic.
there was a temp flux one day in the incubator when she was bating.
mother -- htct
father-- shtct
hatch pic--- 1-3-08
2-17-08
still smaller than siblings
3-23-08
finally hit 24 grams
loving the mealies now
another shot of the previous "pigtail"
and lastly a shot with trevor, our newborn son at 3 1/2 weeks with his gecko curly
i can only imagine with the next 6 months worth of shedding, she will be a beautiful "hypo" .
ENJOY
