Well, the other guy's insurance is being a serious pain in the ass, and I'll be looking into a lawyer soon. It took them more than a week to pick up my car. As an excuse, they said they thought MY insurance was going to pick it up...followed up by "The keys are still under the mat, right?". Yea...I soooo believe them.

Then, today I called them and said I needed to go to the Dr. because my arm is still hurting just as much today as it did on the day of the accident. I just needed to know what info to give the Drs so payment would be properly processed. The dude on the phone said to go to the Dr...but most Drs won't want to see me cuz payment won't be right away...blah blah blah. Trying to tell me they'll pay AFTER all treatment is done. That really funny when you hear what the Dr. said.

I was expecting the Dr. to think I was nuts, because my symptoms don't make sense (to me anyway). I thought he was going to say I had to be faking it. Well...I'm not crazy, I have a rotator cuff injury. I don't know how bad it is, I have to see a specialist. It could involve drugs, therapy, possible MRI, and MAYBE surgery if really bad.

So, I have prescription strength pain killers / anti-anti-inflamitories, and muscle relaxers for at night. I'm expecting to pour myself into bed pretty soon here.

Yea...so...lawyer time.:main_thumbsup:

WOW!!

Hope your recovery is swift, that's nothing to mess with.

I also think you need to stop talking to their ins and only deal through yours. I never talk to the other ins company, and I deal with accedents with our 50+ vans on a monthly basis.

I am...sorta. LOL That's how I got my car towed, finally. I called my insurance and told them they were jerkin around. Talking directly to State Farm is getting me nothing but aggrivation.

Oh yea....and the medical part is funny, cuz they're trying to tell me to pay out of pocket until all treatment is done - which might be months.

I am sooooo not made of money.

I feel all loosey goosey with the muscle relaxers and pain pills, but my arm still hurts. It's not horrible pain, but it's there.

I got the exact same run around after my accident, even though I told them that I couldn't afford to see a doctor. At least it's been confirmed that you do have an injury so it should be fairly easy to get a personal injury attorney to take your case. I hope your shoulder starts feeling better, rotator cuff injuries suck!

I got a lead on a good lawyer, and hope to contact them soon. I also hope to get in to the Drs soon, because when the meds wear off, it SUCKS.

I'm trying to find out if there was a failure with my airbag. Everyone seems surprised that it didn't deploy. I mean everyone...the cop, my insurance person, my doctor...etc. It stands to reason that if their airbag deployed, mine would have as well. I really wonder if my shoulder would be hurt like this if it had deployed. I still feel lucky to walk out of it...but it's hard to remember that when it hurts from just under my ear all the way to my fingertips. Yea...my arm is being a bitch tonight.

I now know that the muscle relaxers do work...just not very well on my arm. When I was here posting last night, I was waiting for the drugs to kick in. It got a bit better, but not totally, so I gave up and went to bed. When I stood up, I nearly fell over because my legs were like limp noodles. I had to call Eric to help me get to the bedroom safely.

Now that I know that, I'm curious as to what the Dr is going to be saying about my arm.

Wow, sorry to hear that Shanti! Please watch the muscle relaxers. I had to take them for mine, and I think the directions were to take one relaxer two or three times a day. I could only take one because they hit me so hard. I hope everything gets squared away shortly, but I'd stop talking to their insurance company and deal only with yours. That's what you pay them x amount of dollars for a month. Also, your insurance company should be paying your medical bills until things are resolved. Once they are, then they can get their money from the other insurance company.

I only take the muscle relaxer when going to bed...I just didn't go to bed soon enough! LOL

My insurance tried to call me today, but I wasn't here to talk to them. This whole thing is getting to be a way bigger mess than I ever imagined.

Shit on a stick. I can't see a specialist because they want me to pay cash up front...and I don't have that sort of money. State Farm doesn't want to pay me. My insurance isn't being much help at the moment because my claim rep is NEVER in the office (she won't be back til Sunday!).

I'm doing what I can to find a lawyer now, because it seems like that's the only way I'm going to get anything done.
