Update on my Tremper Sunglow Pick up

So I recently picked up a Tremper Sunglow at a local petstore for a great price IMO :main_evilgrin: but some people (including myself) were concerenced that her tail was much to thin to be healthy, and suggested a vet visit. Since I really don't know of a reptile specialist with in the area and that there were no other visual signs of ailment I desided that she was most likely underfed and I promised everyone an update. It's been around 3 weeks or so and she has put on some weight, I'm not sure how fast they tend to put on since I have never dealt with such a skinny individual.

Hey thanX a lot everyone, I make sure there are superworms dusted with calcium in her food dish every day (full spectrum vitamin every 3 days or so) as well as some crickets in her tank all the time. I wanted to make sure that she could eat as much as she wanted. Matt S I don't think you alone, honestly I think some ppl were mad at me when I said that I wanted to wait out bringing her to a vet, but her bowel movement seemed normal to me and she was extremely alert, eyes were clear and there was never any discharge around the nose mouth or cloaca... And she seems to be doing great... Hopefully I'll be able to breed her in a year or so... Can't Wait

Excellent job! I can see quite a big difference in the thickness of her tail since you've been giving her great care.

Superworms! :main_thumbsup: You probably don't need to dust them if she has a calcium dish though. Try dropping them in front of her at night, one at a time. Mine often take form 2-6 worms this way.
