Update on Samira

I finally got a scale and weighed her and she is 10 grams. more than I thought she'd be for her size. this pic is less than 10 days old and she hasn't grown much since. She's eating crickets and meal worms like they are going out of style. she'll eat about 5 crickets and 6-8 mealies every night. I've also been giving her 1 wax worm per day as a treat, but I am going to stop that since she is getting so fat, so fast. I dont want her getting an unhealthy fat. Her tail is now as big or bigger around than her neck.

nah. she'll always be my little baby. even when I breed her and start taking care of the hatchlings.... which wont be for a LONG time I think.

BTW just finished 2 new hides for her. took about 10 minutes, a dremel, and a hand file to round things out.

well,... samira is on her 3rd month with me and she has grown tremendously. 35 grams and still growing. she is now about 5 inches long and takes up all of my hand. here are some photos I took not too long ago.
note the tail,... its thicker than her neck by half... and I rarely give her wax worms. mostly a steady diet of crickets and mealies.

Samira is very beautiful. It looks like you've done a super good job in caring for her, wow, from 10 grams to 35 grams in a matter of a few months, incredible! I've always loved patternless leos...Samira looks to be either a tremper patternless or a las vegas patternless albino - I can't distinguish between the two.

Thanks everyone. Been trying my best to give her everything she needs. She's been eating 2 large crickets every night so far. Might try 3 tonight.
