After loosing Freya (ebenaui) & D1 (garglet) unexpectedly this week:cry:, I needed a little pick-me-up...so took some photos of the little ones. They always put a smile on my face.

Lola...one would think she spent all night binge drinking, but she's extremely gravid w/ her first set of eggs.

Not pictured:
V3 - she was hiding in her leaves & didn't want to come out, should have gotten her photo last night when she was being very social.
MG1 - she was playing camera shy & refused to stay still.

Shrimp is eating like no tomorrow & is already gaining nicely, up to 1.4g from 1.1g. I am having to hand feed the little one every other night, but I'm thinking after another week that he/she should be fine eating on it's own.

My other gecko I was extremely concerned about was MG1, my female Sikorae baby. She had a curled tail when she hatched which is not a good thing with that species since uroplatus are fragile to begin with, not to mention babies being super fragile. Her tail has flattened out & she stalked/ate a cricket in front of me last night, & to make me super excited I found a poop on her plant leaf this morning. Its funny that seeing poop makes us reptile lovers so giddy

Yeah, Shrimp is looking good! And I love Neon's coloring, the name suits him/her perfectly!

Poop is exciting stuff in the reptile kingdom. Not nearly so exciting in the mammal world, unless you're dealing with an irregularity issue. "TMI = blech!" was the last response I got when trying to discuss gecko poop with the Mrs. Gotta keep the happy poop discussions to the forums I guess. ;-)
