Sorry it's been awhile since I've posted anything, but baby Chloe has kept me busy. She'll be a year next Wednesday and just took her first two steps this morning. Anyways, an update on the Super RAPTOR project looks like this...
I ended up hatching one male Mack Snow RAPTOR which I posted pics of last year. He is now 60 grams and one of his eyes snaked-out and only has a little red left. His second eye is still solid red. The first and second pics are of him.
I also hatched two Super Snow RAPTORs, at least that's what I'll call them for now. I'm using the name Super Snow RAPTOR and not Super RAPTOR because the Super RAPTOR is supposed to be solid white throughout it's life along with having solid red-eyes. These two females both have two solid red-eyes, but have the same pattern as a Super Snow. The third and fourth pics are of the 30 gram female and the fifth pic is of a 15 gram female. I obviously haven't bred them to see what they will produce so I use these names carefully as not to offend anyone who might not agree with what I'm calling them for now.
I apologize for the lackluster pics, I'd love to get a new camera, but as a stay-at-home Daddy I haven't had an income for a year now. Maybe I'll produce some decent geckos this year and make enough to purchase a new camera.
I'd love to answer any questions about this project that is in it's infancy, but has been a lot of fun!
Cheers,
Charlton Kangas / Kangas Kritters
