If it is flat against a surface, then you dont need any tape, it can just lay there and will continue to heat the bottom of the tank properly. If you need it to stick again because it is not flat against the surface of something I have tried using duck tape and packaging tape, but they didnt work. They werent able to keep the UTH flat against the bottom of the cage and the UTH didnt deliver enough heat to the tank I suggest moving the tank onto a flat surface.

I have tried two different things: put some shims under the middle of the UTH to push it up to the bottom of the tank; what works best for me is to duct tape a piece of aluminum foil over the UTH. It still sags a bit but it keeps it from falling out of contact entirely with the bottom of the tank and the foil helps with directing heat into the tank.

I've tried red construction tape and that works though I read on here and now've tried successfully using 3M spray glue. It works well on the plastic tub I put it on. Though as an afterthought it seems more permanent than I wanted.:wall::D

So you actually sprayed the 3m adhesive on the back of the UTH and stuck

it back on the tank?

If so i guess i will try this.

I use foil tape if my UTHs ever fall off. It works really well.
