UTH, on or off at night?

I put a bowl of mealies into the cage for my gecko only at night when he comes out. The thing is, I normally turn off the UTH at around 6-7 PM My gecko normally comes out when it's dark around 8. That's when he eats the mealies. So I'm not sure if I should turn on the UTH at night so that my gecko can digest the mealies. The temp in the room at night wiht the AC on is around 70-78 degrees at night.

I put my UTH on at all times. Right after my Leo eats she goes and lays down on the warm side and spends most of the night there.

Yeah same here, during the day I have the UTH plus a red infrared, then at night the bulb goes off but the UTH stays on because he digests at night after I feed him.

Dont turn your UTH off at night (or any other time).
Night time, after eating is the most important time to have that belly
heat for digestion.

I leave mine on all the time too. I turn my red light off at night.
