UTH question

Today I got my first leo.
For some reason the UTH isnt keeping it hot enough for him during the day its a constant 70degress F in there Should I buy some sort of basking bulb??
Please I need Help

mine doesn't keep it warm enough either. I have a infared light to help with the heat. 70 is too low. The temps need to be between 85-95

Will he be fine for a day or two or is this urgent?

hmmm not sure. do you have a way to heat the room he is in? I wouldn't any longer than you have too... so get one tomorrow.

Correction it gets to about 76-78

It is an incandescent lightbulb it heats it up a lil bit not too much though

I have one of those too but it will heat it up too 100 and that is too hot..so I don't use it. How hot is too hot for yours?

I have only had the gecko for 4 hours id say and the top temp just hit 82 so maybe it will get too hott ill wait and see

ah ok.... 95 is good...but you don't want it much higher than I don't think....

I am kind of new to this too... we have had ours for 18 months...but I learn something new all the time..LOL
