Uth too hot?

I bought my Calcium no d3 online it was 3 bucks + shipping.

Its been at 96 for awhile now, how much is a thermostat gonna cost me?

Online is like the only place to buy calcium without d3 in it. The repashy stuff is suppesed to be real good just use it at every feeding and you'll be ok.

I think the cheapest I have seen a real tstat was $60 and up
I don't use a tstat or a dimmer, I just messed with it for hours until I got it right. I pulled a all nighter to do it but I finally got it lol.

Oh yea lol, i have about 4 sheets of news paper, a peice of cardboard and some more news paper lol

You will have to play with it until you get it right. I'm pretty sure I have 6 single pieces of newspaper under my tile above the uth.

Oh funny lol. I do not have a calci dish because i use the repashy calci plus and iv read and heard from people that you dont need one but im still thinking about geting one just in case he needs it. No stores around here sell strait calcium without D3

You need calcium for him.

Just use a little soda bottle cap for it and you'll be good.

Yeah don't waste money on a bowl for the calcium powder, just buy a container of mealworms from the pet store and ask em for a spare lid, or use a mil jug lid really anything will work..

Allen Repashy disagrees. He formulated Calcium plus to be a complete supplement, and has stated that the addition of a calcium dish in the enclosure could lead to a dangerous level of over supplementation of calcium.

Get the repashy calcium plus from your local pet store. At my local store it comes in a black bottle with a leopard gecko picture on it.

That is exactly what i have, black bottle with yellow cap, hey bman i got my temps all worked out i put two books on each side of tank to elevate it to get some air flow and iv had a steady 91 92 all day today. The little things to lift your tank that came with the uth didnt work good enough, my leo still hasnt touched his mealworms or 2 cickets i put in there last night

Lol I have pieces of cardboard under each corner of my tank, I lost those little rubber feet that came with my uth.
Try to take a piece of newspapee or two out from under the tile. Try to get your temps between 93-97 it will help with digestion alot.
