UTH with a tub?

Hey guys

I am adopting a sweet lil leopard gecko this coming weekend, and I have one qestion

Will the UTH get way to hot if it is under a tub? The tub will be sitting on carpet

There will be no ventilation between the UTH and the ground, thats why im worried

Does anybody have any suggestions on how to raise the tub off the carpet an inch or two?

Any help is greatly appreciated!

is the tub going to be in a rack? what size tub are you using.

I use wooden dominoes, but you can also go to Home Depot and get some small 2" square tiles. You don't need to raise it that much; 1/4" to 1/2" is adequate. What is essential is that you get a thermostat because otherwise the UTH will get too hot. Alife and ESU thermostats as well as zoomed are fairly reasonably priced.

The tub is 32 inches long, not sure how big in Qts that is

I do have a thermostat, is the Hydrofarm one. got it for only 30 bucks

A thought popped into my head, they sell tubs with wheels right? I could get that and then itll be raised enough
