UVA-B Lighting

I was recommended to get a Reptisun 2.0 UVB bulb for my enclosure, but have read that it is not necessary. Either way I now have a Reptisun and wonder if this is going to be damaging to my little guys well being?

As long as it doesn't increase the temps it wont damage them.
but you will be paying for unneeded use of electricity.
Depending on the morph it may hurt them though. I am not sure if yours emites a visible light. If so it may bug them.

No need for UV light in a leos enclosure, they infact have shown that the geckos get lethargic when exposed to uv light, they are nocturnal for a reason. No need for it dude.

+1, no need to get a light. it would only be on when they are hiding in their caves anyways. They do no require any additional light source.

In the zoo med catalog it I believe it also says to get the 2.0, but it says that for every reptile in the catalog. Go figure.
