Well Penelope has been on a "liquid diet" since Friday night. She was diagnosed with parasites and the vet said that her belly was filled with fluid. . She was taking the food pretty well till tonight she threw it up about 10 minutes after I gave it to her. I'm so afraid I'm might lose her. . I'm really doubting that I am capable of raising such a young gecko. I'm trying everything. She has another vet appointment Thursday. I don't know how much longer I can keep shoving this liquid stuff into her I feel like I'm hurting because it takes some time to get her to open her mouth. I don't if I'm doing it to hard and it hurts her. I just don't know. All I know is that even though I've only her for two weeks she has really become very special to me. I don't know. This is her. She still runs around and has gotten a little used to me

Is she still on medications? sometimes parsite meds can take a lot out of a gecko.

And please dont question your ability to take care of her! a lot of the owners I know wouldnt even be dedicated to take their gecko to the vet ONCE, and youve taken her many times because you care about her so much :) And you came here for advice, which you took very kindly. I have a feeling that she will make it through this just fine, and one day in a few years, when she is a fat old gecko watching re-runs of old sit-coms with you on the couch, youll laugh at how much you doubted your abilities back then :)

Thank you. That means a lot! [emoji4]. She finished the first round on Saturday. She had to take two different types of meds. I have to start the second round in 14 days. The vet she sees seems really knowledgable and caring. She called on Sunday to check on her. I told her all I was doing and she said that it sounded good and to keep doing it. I'm not gonna give up on her. [emoji7]

If you're not already doing this, try putting a drop of the liquid food on her nose and letting her lick it off. That may work better for you. In the pictures she looks pretty good.
