Not sure if you guys will remenber but just before the season kicked of I was enquiring as to what to breed to my Hybino Bell (F) and seeing as all the males I have where Tremper Albinos and one Normal (het eclipse) I went down the Tremper route.

This is where im confuse!! I bred her to a male Super Giant Tremper Albino and got my very first hatchlings from her first clutch last weekend but they both hatched out to be Bell albino (giants) poss (Hybino). I thought the two Albino strains cancelled each other out and I was more likely to get normals as this is the more dominant gene...

Anyone clues?

Do you have pictures of the male, female and offspring? Either your male was het Bell or something else is going on...but pictures would help. :)

The male was hatched by myself last year from a Giant to Giant pairing, its quite unlikley the male could be het for Bell i think.. Ive been trying to upload pics on this site for ages now but the resolution is to high or the pics are to big to upload.. Not very experianced yet..:) Sorry!

Where did you get the female from? Maybe she is actually a Tremper. If you want, you can email me the pictures and I will up load them for you

I purchased the female in the UK from a private breeder. She was sold to me as a Bell Hybino... If you send me your email ad I'll get some pics ASAP.. Need to get some batterys for my digi cam to take some of the hatchlings..

Another thing tho, the babies eyes arent red/pinkish like a tremper hatchlings. They almost look like a normals!!

ive seen lots of trempor eyes look normal, not so many bells without red eyes. I would say you have 2 tremps, but that is just a guess.
I also am very interested in pics
