Ive never seen another animal in that poor of health. Horrible, that guy should be banned.
I thought the same thing.I tried to find any info on Fauna as to where in CA he lives, but unfortunately can't find a thing. I'd really love to shoot animal control in his area that link.

Subject: reporting animal cruelty
Hello,
Please take a look at this thread on a popular forum and let me know if this constitutes animal cruelty... and if so, how do I go about reporting it?

Dear Marcia,
What a sad story.
We unfortunately do not have the resources to track down Internet addresses. You do say in the forum that you found out Xelas is from Irvine. How were you able to do that? Irvine Animal Shelter may have a connection to the police department who would have jurisdiction over this case and they may be able to track this person down. Please see http://www.cityofirvine.org/depts/cs/animalcare/default.asp
You did an excellent job of citing the California Humane Laws to this person. It is unfortunate he didn’t ‘get it’. We are so sad the gecko died.
Sincerely,
Donna Calkin
OCSPCA President
Orange County Humane Law:
Inhumane treatment of animals
“Every person who maliciously and intentionally maims, mutilates, tortures, or wounds a living animal, or maliciously and intentionally kills an animal, is guilty of an offense punishable by imprisonment in the state prison, by a fine, or potentially by both. Every person who overloads, overworks, torments, deprives of necessary sustenance, drink, or shelter, cruelly beats or subjects any animal to needless suffering is guilty of a crime punishable as a felony†(CPC 597). If you observe someone abusing an animal, or suspect an animal of being abused, immediately contact Animal Care Services and an Animal Control Officer will respond. All ‘founded’ cruelty investigations are prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.
