Oh, I think Marly wanted to mate with my sleeve last night...he was sitting on my lap and then suddenly decided to nip and hold on to the edge of my sleeve. He held on for a couple minutes and I couldn't get him off; after he let go, he immediately licked and cleaned his behind! This is actually the second time, he did the same thing last year by holding on to my hand (near the thumb).
I have 6 males in total and Marly is the only one that'll do this. Almost everytime I hold Marly in my hand, he will stick his nose on my palm to try to pick up some scent. And because of him, I had already moved all my females to another room, and I don't hold my females untill very late at night, right before I go to bed.
Marly is almost 6 years old and hasn't been bred before; perhaps he is getting desperate at this age? :main_rolleyes: He doesn't care about other male's scent though, I pick up and hold all my male geckos MANY times a night, and I admit that I don't wash my hand in between. I know if he is sensitive to other male's scent I'd be in big trouble...
