Vet Check Was Good!

Well I had my first check up with all three lizards this past Monday. I had thought Merlin might have had a tongue infection, but the vet did not think it was the case. (Vet I went to has reptiles of his own with plenty of experience over the years, and treated past pets that we owned).

Merlin turned out to be female, which was a surprise to both my mom and me. We had been told at ReptiCon this past May that it was a male, oh well. I still love Merlin and plan to keep Merlin as her name! She weighs 44 grams.

Abby, the recent leopard gecko, weighs about 14 grams.

Jethro (my beardie), weighs about 36 grams. All turned out to be healthy which made me very happy!

I'm happy to hear they're doing well! And Merlin is a pretty name, boy or girl. Jethro is an awesome name - I LOVE NCIS!

Lol yep it was awesome. We're major NCIS Fans as well. Jethro the bearded dragon, Abby the leopard gecko (she loves the skull hide out that I have in her tank), and we even have a Papillon (however it's spelled), named Ziva! ^.^

My Mom has a white cat named Abby. She thought it would be funny to name a solid white cat that, instead of the more obvious black one. I haven't named any of my pets after NCIS chars... yet, anyway.
