I was sitting here wondering today..

Is it alright to call a veterinary office and ask them how much their prices run for say.. A fecal test and check-up?

I'm curious because I want to take my beardie in for a check-up and make sure he's got a clean bill of health but.. I don't have a fortune to spend right now. :main_rolleyes:

I would call and ask. I see nothing wrong with that it's better to be prepared then get there and be short or shocked by the bill, lol

I would call tell them about the services you want and what would be a ball park figure for type of animal you have.

Oh definitely call! It's only fair to know what you're getting into. Plus, if their price is incredibly steep, as some non-herp vets tend to be, you can call around for other pricing :)

You should call. I just walked into one for a check up and I had to pay RM 35 ($10).

Wow. Those are crazy prices.
I called around here for the same thing and the cheapest I found was $40 for exam and $11 for the fecal.

Cheapest fecal I found was $9!
