hi i just got a new gecko and i plan on putting it in the same tank with my other female. i was wondering how much is the average cost for a visit to the vet and a fecal examination.

About the vet bill. Just a walk in at my vets is $78 bucks. I think the fecal is like $30? It ranges in diff vets. My vets is not even a reptile vet, they never know what they are doing. The mostly do cats and dogs. Never any reptiles...

In Indiana it is 49.50 for the office visit and 15.00 for a fecal. This is the basic fecal you have to pay extra to test for Crypto ( that is another 18.00).

Jared. I'm pretty sure it runs around $80 here. Can't verify because I immediately burn the evidence to prevent my husband from giving the "are you kidding me??? rolling eyes etc". Hopefully you are lucky enough to have a real herp vet in your area too.

It is about $65 here and the fecal runs about $20.00. My vet clinic offers 20% off everything on Tuesdays though - their slow day.
