Vionate?

I have heard that alot of breeders use vionate http://www.kvvet.com/KVVet/productr.asp?pf%5Fid=40431&gift=False&HSLB=False&mscssid=E08133F1147644DEA7F127BBDF9F8EA1 as their calcium supplement. Apparently they used the vionate in the mealie bowl, and both the worms and geckos ate it. Any experience with this? Would it be ok to use with dubias (just set aside in a bowl, possible coated on gthe roaches?) If you dont use Vionate, what type of calcium supplement do you use? I am looking for a medium quantity (a pound or two) for a good price. Thanks!

i use herptivite for vitamins and rep cal for my calcium.

I use Vionate and Osteo form. I think its the best there is and Ron tremper And many of the more prominent advanced breeders use it so its gotta be great. I only use what Tremper recomends for my animals, And yes you can coat your feeders with it, I also mix it in with my feeders food and it works well then the feed ers get some But it will work with all insects!! Butr I always keep a dish of osteo form for my older geckos which I put my mealies in and then I use the vionate for younger geckos from hatchling up to 6 inches which the book from Tremper says the book is called the herpticulture of leopard geckos 27 generations,its the bible in my book i highly recomend it!!! I have his book, great stuff in there. I am just curiouse though, beacuse both vionate and osteo form contain vitamin D3. I am thinking I will try Repti-Calcium both with and withought D3. Thanks for the help!

Just food for thought, why not do more research in things and not just copy what someone else uses? Make up your own mind by learning about other products and getting yourself educated then just saying that well if a big named breeder uses it, it must be good.

Just to let you know that big time breeders ship off their over flow to petstores and you see what they look like. It's quality over quantity.
