is sand okay for viper geckos? i know its bad for leos, but i've seen lots of people use it with vipers.

I should put that on the page..I feed mine 2 week old crickets, young superworms, young mealworms and mini-mealworms Tenebrio obscurus. I have not tried roaches. These guys do like variety though!

I don't think they are picky. They just thrive more if you give them some variety.
That's a trueism for just about any gecko.

How do you prevent eggs laid in sand from drying out:main_huh:

These are hard-shelled eggs and as such they do not suffer any great loss of drying out like leathery eggs like leopard geckos produce. They look like little pearls. It is important they do not touch damp substrate directly.
