Virkon S info

I've been using Nolvasan as a disinfectant but would like to find something more effective against viruses. I recently heard about a more broad-spectrum disinfectant called Virkon S. Anyone familiar with it? I can't seem to find out if it had to be rinsed off after application or just wiped off with paper towels. Would appreciate any input regarding it.
