Hey this may be early, but in June 13 I will be going to get 2 more leopard geckos in the Hamburg Show.I have a limited space on putting my reptiles. The space I have is about as long as a 20 gallon long. Thinking to get about 2 visionariums. I heard they stack and you can use a UTH under them. If anyone have any of the Visionariums with a uth.

How would you heat them up with a a uth while they are stack together?

You can use a UTH, but you need a long narrow one that will fit between the support struts on the bottom. I use ultratherm 6 x 23". I found that shorter versions did not provide enough heat.

There are notches to knock out on either side of the bottom to make space for the cord when you stack them.

Heater

I just ordered one of the Ultratherm Heaters, I heard that it is very thin.

When I get it in a couple of days, I am going to check the thickness to the other heater that I have.

There are plastic struts that limit the width of the heat pad that you can use. The 6" ultratherms fit perfectly - any wider and the struts will be in the way. The 23" length is necessary to achieve enough warmth unless your room is always very warm. They are thinner than many of the UTHs sold in petstores, but that is not the part that matters - it's the 6" width.

You can also look into zoomed heat cable which can be taped to the bottom of the tank in any configuration.
