Would it work to use a thin feeding bowl with both D3 and food? I mean, let the worms crawl around in the powder.

Thought of this since i don't have that much space left and i think it would also be efficient since he gets some vitamins at the same time he eats.

Yes but it should be pure Calcium, not D3. There is such thing as vitamin, any vitamin, overdose in animals. D3 should be dusted 2-3 times a week, Vitamins should be dusted anywhere from once a week to once a month, id do it on the lower end for juvis.

Well at my local petco/petsmart they do not sell plain calcium without D3, only with.
I went on amazon and found a good price on the repti calcium without D3.
This is the product: http://www.zoomed.com/db/products/EntryDetail.php?EntryID=1&DatabaseID=2&SearchID=1&SearchContext=YTo1OntzOjQ6IlBhZ2UiO3M6MToiMCI7czo4OiJTZWFyY2hJRCI7czoxOiIxIjtzOjEwOiJEYXRhYmFzZUlEIjtzOjE6IjIiO3M6NzoiSGVhZGluZyI7czo5OiJUZXJyYXJpdW0iO3M6MTU6IlByb2R1Y3RDYXRlZ29yeSI7czoyMDoiVml0YW1pbnMvU3VwcGxlbWVudHMiO30=

And a good all in one vitamin with calcium with D3 a lot of people use is the repashy "all in one" supplement.
Product here: http://www.store.repashy.com/calcium-plus-bag.html
This is the one im currently using: http://www.zoomed.com/db/products/EntryDetail.php?EntryID=3&DatabaseID=2&SearchID=1&SearchContext=YTo1OntzOjQ6IlBhZ2UiO3M6MToiMCI7czo4OiJTZWFyY2hJRCI7czoxOiIxIjtzOjEwOiJEYXRhYmFzZUlEIjtzOjE6IjIiO3M6NzoiSGVhZGluZyI7czo5OiJUZXJyYXJpdW0iO3M6MTU6IlByb2R1Y3RDYXRlZ29yeSI7czoyMDoiVml0YW1pbnMvU3VwcGxlbWVudHMiO30=

If you use the all in one supplement then you dont need to get regular calcium with D3. The all in one is all you would need.

Just make sure the one you put in the tank is WITHOUT D3, and also that the vitamin supplement has D3.

d3 overdose is close to impossible many say the gecko would have to eat practically the whole bottle. I only use d3 and have had him for over a month with no problems. This is because i can't find it without d3 in stores. I would have to order it online and it would be close to 20 dollars after tax, and shipping.

If you've only had the leo for around a month that is by no means enough time to measure whether you are harming your gecko or not. There is plenty of research that supports D3 is extremely harmful and can be deadly in leopard geckos. This is because it is fat soluble, and since geckos store fat, it builds up in the bodies. Over time this causing poisoning and over doses which can in fact kill a leopard gecko. And YES I do know what I'm talking about, I've kept leos for around 11 years. If you think 20$ is to much to spend on a proper calcium supplement, you have no idea how much a vet bill can cost because in reality you are seriously harming your gecko in the long run.

I can help with the suppliment if youd like,
Got mine from here
http://www.geckoranch.com/
1/4 lb for around $14 goes a LONG way with only 1 leo but should still last long with 2-4. You can always up the amount since the shipping is constant till over 2Lbs.
