I hatched a snow gecko about a month ago. When she hatched 1 eye was half closed and the other eye didn't seem to be there: there was kind of a glob of eyelid and nothing else. Ever since then I've been moistening the eyes regularly. The half closed eye opened the first week and has been fine ever since. The other eye just looked absent even when I checked it with a magnifying glass. She's been healthy in every other way, though small, and has been able to see and catch mealworms. Today she shed and when I checked on her, she had TWO EYES! I don't know yet if she sees out of the "new" eye. I think there was extra skin around the eyelid and it finally came off with the latest shed. What a miracle!
