Watching Your Leos with Technology

Ok so I was wondering if anyone uses a webcam to watch their leos when they're not at home. I was considering getting one so that I could check on Zelda when I'm in class at night (Read: when I'm bored out of my mind in class). :) If anyone has a webcam they use to see their leos, what kind do you have and/or what do you suggest. I'm hoping to find something cheap yet decent.

Thanks!

Wel Ive never heard of anybody doing this but you would need a decent webcam to be able to do it, also you would need to be able to have a constant live feed on the net which Im pretty sure you would have to pay either monthyl or annually for

No, you can do it with any camera. If you really want to do it, get a camera with IR (infrared). It will illuminate the cage for you, but the gecko can't see it. There are many remote access webcam programs out there. I can find one for you if you really need one. Drop me a PM. There is also a site www.thegeckocam.com, they have a constant feed on the web.

I did see someone with a webcam watching their leo on another forum. Can't remember where. It seems like it would be kind of boring, though.

Trust me lectures on the nutritional content of cattle forages can be even more boring. In a class of sixty there were only 3.5 people awake during one of the lectures I remember. And I say half because I woke up long enough to count them. :main_rolleyes:

It was just an idea I've considering.
