water balloon eggs?

I found 2 GIANT eggs from a not so giant girl tonight, they look normal, but big, but feel like water balloons... what does this mean? My feeling is their not fertile, am I right?

ALSO, not too long ago, I had a new girl lay 3 eggs, by the time I found them they were all dried up... I definatley wasn't expecting eggs from her, she's a new girl and not ever been bred (at least not by my boys) and was only about 30 grams when I got her a few weeks ago, now about 40 grams.

So my question is, has any one had virgins lay eggs?

Yes the ones that feel like that, are infertile.

I have had some females lay eggs like that.

It is possible that she laid infertile eggs. Incubate them, if you can, and candle them in a few days. She could have been bred before you received her. She is too small to be bred.

i incubate all eggs no matter how they look. you never know what will or will not hatch, those buggers will amaze you. so until they are for sure dead and molded and deflated keep them. you never know
