Hey all, I have been using cricket quincher for my roaches and it has become somewhat expensive. I have read on here people make their own from water crystals. I was wondering where you can get them. I checked at our local walmart and they don't have them. Where else could I find them and are they safe for the roaches and ultimately the leos.

You can try a local gardening store, they're used in floral stuff sometimes. But really, the best place to find them is online. Quite a few places carry them, I get mine from thebeanfarm.com simply because I order other stuff at the same time usually.

It's the same thing as cricket quencher, just minus the additives. It's just silicon that expands when wet, holding water. It's perfectly safe as a water source for any insect, and of course ultimately the leos.
