Not particularly. You would know if she's NOT drinking enough. Her skin around her neck and head chest would become very shriveled looking, and loose it's ability to "bounce back". Geckos do get some moisture from their food, but the rest she would drink from the bowl you have provided. I can almost guarantee you she is drinking at night, assuming all other things are in check, such as heat, hides, food, etc.

The only time I ever really see my geckos drinking is when I'm refilling the dishes after washing and as I'm filling the dish they are attracted by the water's movements.

I have only ever seen one of my 3 leos drink, but I know they all do.

Otherwise, you would see a very sick and dehydrated leo!

Also, they get most of the moisture they need from their food.

Crickets have more water in them then mealies (esp. when gutloaded with fruit and vegies), so if you feed mostly mealies, your leo will probably drink more water.

Geckos drink verrrry small amounts of water at a time. So they might be doing it when your not looking. I also read somewhere that if you have a humid hide they might lick the condensation on the side of the hide soo it might be getting water that way too..

Since for some reason I can't edit it, please ignore my above post. I love it when friends get a hold of my computer.

That aside, I've seen my gecko drink once, and it was literally like 2 very quick licks and she was done. I guess they just don't need that much of it.
