I know that they are really just treats but wanted to see if my babies would eat them. Also they came in like saw dust so i put them in wheat bran cause thats all I have. I thought surely wheat bran is better then saw dust. Any one else have any thoughts?

I would suggest not using full size waxworms. The tubs of waxworms usually have some pretty small ones mixed in. Those would be fine.

I'd make sure that the waxworms don't exceed the width of the babies' heads. Just as a rule of thumb. However, waxworms are basically liquid, and fat content. Be careful with how many you feed them, you could have a mutiny on your hands. LoL. They have a tendency to get addicted to them. ;) And yes, they obviously do eat something, hahah, and you can feed them fibre gut load, apples, potatoes, etc.

Good luck!
