wax worms

my friend feed his gecko 5 wax worms one night ( these were the first the gecko ever ate) and now he hasnt ate anything else not supers or crickets or mealies but as soon as you dangle a wax worm in front of it he perks up and wants to eat it. of course we dont let him eat them but anyways we fear he is addicted to wax worms its been about a week. what do we do to get him back on his staple again? please help thank you

Stop teasing him with waxworms.
He will eat other things when he gets hungry enough.
A child may refuse to eat anything but candy, but will eat his vegetables if hes hungry enough.
