Waxy Skin

We have a female that over this past week has developed waxy skin on her underside, belly and tail. I wouldn't think anything of it if it was a male, but she is a she. It's an adult, so gender really isn't a question. We gave her a soak last night, and it feels exactly the same. I've not run into this before. Has anybody else?

Does she seem to be uncomfortable at all?

Eh she seems fine enough. Ovulating and being a pain like that but nothing out of the norm.

Then, honestly, I wouldn't worry too much about it. Maybe she'll be normal after her next shed?
