We were told it was a carrot tail.

Hey guys we bought our gecko, Gaara, and we were told when buying that it was a Carrot Tail. We are new to geckos and we've been told elsewhere it isn't a carrot tail. Does anyone have an idea of what morph he is? It doesn't matter so much, we love him as he is, but it would be nice to know. Cheers, Kirsty x

Just got him out and he has orange on his tail but not much its more yellow like his body but theres defo orange on there though, could this mean more will come the older he gets ? he is currently 7months

Unless you know the genetics of the parents, you're going to have to wait just a little longer until you can really see the full adult patterning.

I have to agree but at 7months i dont see that developing into much more unless he has some odd color spurt

that all depends on the individual. factors of enviroment, husbadnry and genetics. Normaly you would say between 1-2 years. Some sooner then that.
