Weights of cresties?

What do your cresties weigh & how old are they? This post is made out of curiousity & trying to get a guestimate on age of my guy.

Ferrous is a male, pet store bought, with no tail. He weighs 30g. I have no idea of his age.

I'm gonna guess Ferrous is "about" 10 months old. Honestly though, it's pretty hard to know how close you really are. But based purely on the weight, that's my guess.

6 months later he still weighs 28 grams. He's getting the crested standard diet of cgd, occassional mashed banana, occassional crickets or mealies. Everyone find this to be OK? Or should he have gained weight?

At roughly four or five months, my female crestie with a tail weighed around 17 grams. By six months, she'd topped 20 grams. At about eight months, she was around 30 grams. At around a year, she was over 40 grams. Since that time, she's fluctuated as high as about 48 grams and dropped back to as low as about 39 grams.

If I were guessing, I'd say your guy is about a year old. If he seems healthy and happy, I wouldn't be too upset that he weighs only 30 grams. What color is he? I have a friend who claims that all of the yellow cresties tend to be a little smaller.

I have a male frog-butt ( buck-skin). He is 39 grams. He fluctuates between 38 and 40 grams. There are weeks when he eats everything in sight ( CGD, fruit and crickets) and there are weeks when he turns picky on me.
