Weird Adaptations You've Noticed

Here's two traits I've noticed that leos generally seem to have.

They have a slightly prehensile tail.
The skin around their ear holes contracts if you touch it.

What about you guys? And have you noticed these traits, too?

I have noticed the slight prehensile tail, as nearly all of our geckos will try walking off of our hands, and as I put another hand below them to land on, they wrap their tail around my upper hand or finger every single time :main_yes:

Haven't noticed the ear thing, that is interesting.

mine this probably sounds silly but i think mine can tell time. because his hide is on a perfect angle to see the time and around 8:30 he'll look at it and come out. My friend says his sits in his cage and watch t.v

my normal gecko seems to have a thing for climbing even if my hand is not touching the tile he/she will reach up and climb all the way up my arm to my shoulder

my albino just looks at me lol

ive notcied that almost all of mine and alot of others seem to have a little difficulty catching food. They usually miss the first few times XD

Haha. Mine are extremely slow. If the worm crawls too fast they end up just grabbing paper towel.
