So this morning i was cleaning out all of my tubs and taking my weekly gecko weigh ins when i noticed one of my shtct geckos acting weird. She was walking around her cage rubbing her face(top of head and bottom of mouth) against the floor, hides, walls, and me. I had no clue why, she has also lost her appetite the past few days and lost a gram or so. she is 38 grams and her clutch mate is now 55 grams. I also know this is not from her trying to shed, she had shed last week and looks bright still. Anyone ever see this in a gecko?
thanks for any help given.

My first thought if not shed.......
it may not be moist enough for her.....
I have seen them do it during and after shedding.
I usually check to see if they didn't get it all off.
If OK I will make sure the moist
hide is sprayed and do a mist or two in the tank on the cool side.
I guess there would be chances of something more severe
but I tend to think on the moisture first.

On the weight loss/clutchmate weight ....
Are they housed together?

Ok. She has been in the moist hide, digging and rubbing her face. Yes they are housed together. They started at the same weight and after quarantine i placed them together and i always make sure they both get enough to eat. They have mealworms in a bowl 24/7 and i feed them some crickets everynight. She just slowed down on eating this week, not a horrible weight loss. Im just concerned.

I'm with H.J., I would check for retained shed on the lip area (especially the tip of the snout). :)
