I have just hatched 2 MSTA het RAPTOR. But their eyes look like a Snake/Eclipse eyes.

Father is RAPTOR and mother is MS het Tremper Albino ( her parents was MS het Tremper and female was Hypo) - So I don´t know nothing about Eclipse or Blizzard genes here.

What do you thing about it?

And bonus is my very first solid eyed RAPTOR female.

the first image is snake eyed and 3rd is full eyed. I say you got a hidden eclipse gene in the mack het tremper is the most logical answer. I have a mack tremper with strange nearly full eyes , but they aren't classic "eclipse" eyes. That could be your case too, but a pair of them just seems to hard to get to me.

I think the 3rd might be snake-eyed, I can slightly see it in the photo - I think it's the lighting that makes it hard to see.. I am not sure what's going on here, but they are all absolutely magnificent!! The first one doesn't look albino to me, though.

Congrats on your very beautiful hatchlings, the RAPTOR is gorgeous as well :smitten:

Your a lucky man if it come out that they are. But If these are MST and the eyes are Eclipse eyes, shouldn´t they be red like the Raptors?

Well whatever realy realy cool geckos you have their!!!

How interesting!!! Since it's a mack snow tremper albino het RAPTOR, I guess that answers the question............you're seeing the eclipse gene present. Cool!! ;)

Congrats also on that awesome RAPTOR hatchling. :D

thorsten low temp(female) trempers have dark pigment and darker eyes that can appear black, but are actually dark red.

They were incubated in same incubator with RAPTOR hatchling. So they should have ruby snake eyes if they are Eclipse. Or do you thing, that I hatched my very first 2 MS RAPTORs?:)

So I have to wait how they progress. I´ll take photos later, when will they be older and post images. I hope, that I will find some ruby in their eyes:)

Thanks all for help.

those could be mack eclipse non albinos then. Any hatchling images?

I first thought those were hatchlings until I I looked closer and noticed they looked like they have shed a few times... oops.

definately trempers and female temps....

It takes awhile to wake up on rainy days for me and I read it as 2-3 weeks.

Shhhh, I am in a fog in the morning:main_laugh:

I hatched 8 mack trempers from super snow tremper x raptor, and 3 of them also have these eclipse like eyes.... 1 is incubated for male, and his eyes are really red......

The super snow tremper has no eclipse genes present as far as I know, it's from mack tremper het blizzard x mack tremper poss. het. blizzard and patternless......

I will test breed the male next year to a Raptor to find out if it is the eclipse gene present, or if there is something weird going on.....
At this point I really don't know......
(The SSA could be het. eclipse, but I really doubt it.....)

So if both were in the same ink both should look the same right?
Funky thing... Jakub keep pictures of their eyes posted it would be so cool if you hatched Mack Snow Tremper Bandeded Eclipse a bit earlier as thought *G*

(could it be that the Eclipse of the MSS worked together with the Raptor Eclipse but in a unnormal way?)
