Weirdest [or smartest?] Leo

Bee is in shed right now so she's been hanging out in her humid hide. So I walk over and see this....

So....I think my leopard gecko has died dramatically and I go to take a look at her [in a panic]...

"Cant a lizard just relax without being inturrupted? Sheesh."

Leave it to me to have the oddest pets around.:main_thumbsup:

Not to scare you, but this is how I found my Andiamo. He died of a stroke the following day. At first, I also thought he was just sleeping The first time, he got back up. Not the second time.

Oh :/ I thought she was just trying to loosen the skin on her back by rubbing it in the moss. I'll keep an eye on her but she hasnt shown any ill signs or anything. If she starts to show unusual signs I'll take her to the vet.

I have an enigma that will lay on her back, usually to get my attention. She does sleep on her side at times propped up against the side of her tub. She's a monkey

Thanks everyone! Shes a goober xP She must have been comfortable because I actually opened her humid hide. But the minute to top was off she rolled over and ran for cover in her cool hide ;P. Its a moment in time I will cherish! And...hopefully nothings wrong like Chrissy said. ):

Thanks everyone! She's doing awesome as usual, no more funny poses now that she is out of shed! But she's eating like a champ [2 big supers and 3 giant mealworms today] no sign of anything wrong---so I take it that she was just being a goober ;P.

My first leo did this after a month having him and i found him in the same position in his humid hide during his shed and i thought he was dead but when i opened the top of the container he flipped over then looked at me and was like "wtf?"

if it were me i would be alarmed.that to me is not normal IMO.Hopefully its nothing

I mean...if she's fine now probably nothing serious. She most likely just tried to get the shed skin on her back moisten up. Had that same gecko for 7 months now and he's fine.

@ Roger:;; Yeah I checked her over for parasites / mites and theirs nothing. She's pooping/eating/acting normal since she did that a few nights ago. Theres a couple people that said theres did something similier which is why Im not too alarmed. She looked like she was just trying to soak her skin on the moss, because she was just starting to go into shed and her skin had not split yet. And I had just sprayed to moss down. like Theinfidel said I think she was just soaking her back. Because she was wigglign a bit and trying to get her back down in the moss. At first I thought she had somehow got stuck on her back...but when alarmed her she immediatly popped right side up and ran into her cool hide .
