I was putting some new worms into a dish in one of my gecko's tubs, and just out of nowhere, i guess he saw the worm wiggling in my fingers, ran out of his hide, and lunged at it... It was the craziest thing i think i have ever seen... It was so fast. Anyways, it made me jump because it caught me off guard, wasn't expecting it, and needless to say, he missed his mark, and tagged me on the knuckle. The bite didn't hurt as much as when I would wash my hands the next day and have water hit it, but luckily it didn't draw as much heavy blood as some of the bite pix I have seen people post on here before. I *was* proud to say that in all my years of owning leopard geckos (over 10 years, lol), that i have never once been bit by a gecko. Well, I can't say that anymore. So here's the newest inductee to the "Leo Bite Club"... Myself, lol...

dang, ive been bitten several times, but nothing like that where blood was drawn. usually they are just lunging for worms like you said. guess he thought your finger was the biggest worm he had ever seen...

UH OH ! ! ! You better be careful now that it has a taste for human flesh, or we will all be watching it on the big screen in 10 years. There was MOTHRA, KING KONG, GODZILLA, THE KILLER TOMATOES, AND NOW GECKOOOOOOOO ! ! ! !

Haha Chris, welcome to bite club! Your position will advance when you get the "mistaken you as another male" type of bite. LOL

Pretty good-sized bite you got there!
I had to move my leo when he wasn't *quite* awake yet the other day, and I got a cute little grumpy half-bite - it felt like when you stick your fingers into the mouth of a plastic dinosaur to pretend like it's biting you. :tongue3: He's such an adorable fail-biter.
