"Chance", my lil sick leo died early this morning. =( He was a rescue from someone who didnt give his leos and attention or the right care. I cant stand people like this....Anyways I tried my best and thats all i could do for him. He will be missed...

He was on the slurry for around 2 weeks, every now and then would get the strength to chase and nap a cricket or 2, but simply was too weak.

His "sister"(a blizzard) was in the same shape as him but has pulled through great on the brighter side! She is now catching meal worms and eating crickets. So this week will be her last week on slurry. Her tail is still thin but i do see a big diff in her legs and stomach.

Ill try to get pics of her soon and post them on another thread.

I know now how it feels to loose one of these guys and even though they are small they are still close to me. I hate to see him go. I buried him in my backyard with his favorite hide next to my rose bush i planted 3 years ago...

I am so sorry for your loss  Glad that there is a bright side to things and that the other is doing well. Despite their size, they can take as much of place in one's heart as any other beloved pet. May Chance RIP.

I am so sorry for your loss. I know how hard it is too loose one of these little guys. Even though they are small ...they have a way of taking a big place in our hearts. Best wishes with his little sister.

Matt, I'm so very sorry the little gecko didn't win the battle. It is very hard to lose them after doing so much to help them survive. I'm glad the other gecko is on the road to recovery.
