Western Fence Lizards

Hi,

I am planning to go herping for western fence lizards. I live in Southern California so they are here but what kind of habitat do they live in? (like- chaparral, marshlands, grasslands, etc.)

theres a couple at my house. sometimes they hangout on the wall sunbathing. i have a big back yard and i find a bunch of stuff there

I always find them around piles of concrete and rocky areas.
