Wet Eggs

Hello everyone. One of my girls layed two eggs 3 days ago. This is my first experience with breeding reptiles. I have an incubator set up with a thermostat to 81º. I candled the fresh eggs and could see what appears to be veins and blood vessels.

I made the mistake of mixing my substrate too wet. Today when I checked the eggs I noticed the shells are about 70% semi translucent and a bit soft. What can i do to rescue the eggs? My room temperature moves between 79-85º. I have removed them from the incubator and they are sitting in open air at the moment. I'm going to mix up a fresh batch of sterilized vermiculite.
Should I allow the eggs to sit uncovered until they are fully white again?

well the eggs regained their solidity again within about 20 minutes. i placed them into the new vermiculite mixed at a 1:.8 ratio measured with a digital scale.

a good rule of thumb.. and what i do.. is add enough water to make ball but so that with a light tap it falls apart. ive never done a ratio

that doesnt work because everyones strenght pressure is different. You cant go wrong if u use 1:1 ratio.Takes the guess work out.
